Admittedly, this picture isn’t evidence of my husband being annoying but it still makes me laugh…this is when our baby decided to poop all over my husband’s lap. His reaction was pretty priceless; I wish I had gotten a picture of his face right after this. He immediately tried to hand her off to me but I wasn’t gonna let that happen!
(Sorry if any of you are grossed out by this but poop, pee, spit-up and drool have basically become the center of our lives now. Fun, huh?)

I just had that convo with my darling, we’re expecting December 2. He said he would react the same way I did with the bug hiding under the pile of laundry: A scream and then freak out. I told him we can’t do that with a baby.
Thanks for making me laugh. Yeah, it happens…
Oh boy, I remember this all too well!! That runny poop that just seeps out no matter what lol
Ahhhh … I remember those days well. Now my three are 15, 18, and 20, so I am (somewhat) by the poop, pee, and spit-up stage. I say “somewhat” because the oldest likes to go out with his friends to have a drink or two, so I guess a spit-up isn’t entirely out of the question. And the weird part is that now I’m looking forward to re-entering that stage with grand-kids someday. Though I’m in no hurry for that, mind you…
Love this post. Know the feeling exactly. Our boy is 9 months old now and solid food means solid poop, but with baby number 2 on the way in November, we’ve got another winter of frozen sprints to the outside bin with stink bomb parcels like that one!
Ugh! I this the kind of thing I have to look forward too!!!
Your daughter is just beautiful….poop and all!!!!!
Hey, those cool green army shorts would go great with the GREEN SWEATER!!! Is there going to be a baby green sweater?
My oldest pooped like that every time when she was little! Your daughter is beautiful!
next time get his reaction as you’re running away. classic!
